PhD Candidate - Geography, Planning and Design
Hello!
I am a PhD Candidate in the Geography, Planning and Design program at University of Colorado - Denver with a background in Geology (Bachelors of Science) and Physical Geography (Masters of Science). My research integrates geospatial analysis, remote sensing, and field methods to examine glacier dynamics and related hazards in rapidly changing mountain regions. Grounded in the framework of critical physical geography, my work emphasizes the co-production of environmental risk—examining not only physical processes, but also the institutional, political, and historical contexts that shape vulnerability and adaptation. I am committed to producing interdisciplinary research that advances both scientific understanding and socially responsive approaches to environmental change, particularly in conservation and hazard-prone regions.
